Who We Are

Procter Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church, affiliated with the Golden Triangle Baptist Association, the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Southern Baptist Convention. We want you to know that we are a Bible believing, soul seeking, joy filled fellowship of believers desiring to minister to all people.

Our goal is to fulfill the Great Commission as defined by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 and 20, “19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

We will accomplish that goal by doing the following:

PRAISING * * * LEADING IN SPIRIT FILLED MOVING WORSHIP

    It is our desire to exalt the wonderful and majestic name of Jesus through music, prayer, preaching, giving and teaching God’s Word.

PREPARING * * * MAKING DISCIPLES OF BELIEVERS

    At Procter we prepare our members to serve Christ by serving others. Every member has a spiritual gift and is trained to use that gift for the good of the whole church. As Christians grow and mature in their faith, solid Bible study, fellowship with the saints, and ministry opportunities will be provided through the church for all ages.

PROCLAIMING * * * EVANGELIZING NON-CHRISTIANS

    It is our goal to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with every non-Christian, beginning first in our own neighborhood, then Texas, then America, and finally to the entire world. One on one, building relationships with the lost we will enlarge the kingdom of God.

To this end we will work till Jesus comes.
